Progress Report - January 2012
Our start up committee, now called our Steering Committee (following the example of  "Canadians In Support of Afghan Women"), met Jan 18, 2012.  We are planning monthly yard sales at our headquarter near the corner of Locke St South and Hunter St West (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) starting early spring 2012.  We are also planning a public screening of the documentary "I AM" at McMaster University (also Hamilton, Ontario) before winter's end.  See below for a link to the web page for "I AM".  Watch this space for details.

Our newly adopted constitution (By-laws) in PDF format can be seen by pressing here.

Our president, Marianne, is planning a trip to Kenya in 2012 or 2013 to meet with school boards of rural schools in the Nyahururu district.   She will be taking a portable solar power unit along with a netbook, and small projector in the hopes that she can connect to the Internet wirelessly to at least give some demonstrations.
